Your body is connected. When a joint in your shoulder, knee, ankle, or wrist isn't moving right, it affects how you walk, how you work, and how you live. Maybe you can't reach overhead without pain. Maybe your knee aches every time you climb stairs. Maybe your wrist hurts from typing all day. Extremity adjustment in Tucson addresses these problems at the source—restoring proper joint movement so you can get back to your life without pain or limitations.

Signs You Need an Extremity Adjustment

Joint problems in your arms and legs show up in different ways. You might feel sharp pain when you move a certain way, or a dull ache that gets worse as the day goes on. Stiffness in the morning that takes a while to work out. A grinding or clicking sensation when you move a joint. Weakness or instability—like your knee wants to give out, or you can't grip things as strongly as you used to.

Sometimes the problem isn't where you feel the pain. A knee problem can start from an ankle that isn't moving right. Shoulder pain can come from how your wrist position affects your whole arm. That's why Dr. Clint looks at the whole picture, not just the spot that hurts. If you've been dealing with joint pain for more than a few days, or if it's affecting your ability to work, exercise, or sleep, it's time to get it checked. Waiting usually means the problem gets worse and takes longer to fix.

Our Extremity Adjustment Services

Dr. Clint treats the joints most chiropractors don't touch. While many chiropractors focus only on the spine, he's trained in full-body care that addresses problems from your shoulders down to your feet.

Shoulder adjustment helps with frozen shoulder, rotator cuff issues, and general shoulder pain. The shoulder is the most mobile joint in your body, which also makes it one of the most likely to develop problems. Whether you can't reach behind your back, have pain when lifting, or feel like your shoulder is "stuck," adjustments can restore proper movement and reduce pain.

Knee pain treatment addresses issues with the knee joint itself, as well as problems that start above or below the knee but show up as knee pain. Runners, hikers, and anyone who's active in Tucson's outdoor lifestyle can develop knee problems. Adjustments help restore proper tracking and movement, reducing pain and preventing further damage.

Ankle and foot care is important for anyone who walks, runs, or stands for long periods. Ankle sprains that never fully healed, plantar fasciitis, and general foot pain often respond well to chiropractic adjustment. Your feet are your foundation—when they're not working right, it affects your knees, hips, and back.

Elbow and wrist treatment helps with conditions like tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel symptoms, and general arm pain. These joints take a beating from repetitive motions—typing, gripping tools, or playing sports. Adjustments can reduce inflammation, restore proper movement, and help you get back to using your hands without pain.

Extremity Adjustment for Tucson's Active Lifestyle

Tucson is an active city. People here hike, bike, golf, and play tennis year-round. That's great for your health, but it also means more stress on your joints. Cycling on The Loop can lead to knee and ankle issues. Hiking in the Catalinas puts pressure on your feet, ankles, and knees. Golf and tennis are hard on shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Even the dry desert climate can contribute to joint stiffness.

We serve patients from across the Tucson area who want to stay active without pain. Our Central office near Fort Lowell and Swan is convenient for Winterhaven, Sam Hughes, University of Arizona, Old Fort Lowell, and Blenman-Elm. Our Civano office serves Rita Ranch, Vail, and Southeast Tucson. Whether you're a weekend warrior or a serious athlete, extremity adjustments can help you keep doing what you love.

What to Expect

When you come in for an extremity issue, Dr. Clint will start by asking about your pain—when it started, what makes it better or worse, and how it's affecting your life. He'll examine the joint, checking range of motion, stability, and how it moves compared to the other side. Often, he'll also look at related joints to see if the problem is coming from somewhere else.

Extremity adjustments are similar to spinal adjustments but adapted for each joint. They're usually quick and relatively gentle. Most patients feel immediate improvement in mobility and a reduction in pain. Dr. Clint will give you an honest assessment of how many visits you might need and any exercises that could help between appointments.
